Brunswick Moviebowl, Derry

This venue is probably the largest indoor entertainment complex in the North West of Ireland. I was tasked with the interior design of the the gaming and entertainment areas, the cinema and also the architectural design for the exterior.

The seven screen cinema has a dramatic concessions foyer with an ornate panelled eight metre high ceiling. Full height swagged red velvet drapes and bronzed chandeliers help create a timeless classic interior with all the grandeur of an old Victorian theatre. This style also continues into the casino gaming area.

Designs were created for the complete exterior and finishes included engineered brick, terra-cotta rain screen and zinc cladding which give a balanced contrast to the opulent and extravagant interiors.
